Exclusive: First Look at PETA's (Very Naked) Austin Armacost Campaign

New, 36 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Joining the ranks Penelope Cruz, Eva Mendez, and Alicia Silverstone in posing naked for PETA is The A-List: New York reality TV star (and former Marc Jacobs flame) Austin Armacost.

PETA told us the campaign is aimed specifically at gay fashion designers and stylists and will break in the gay press during fall fashion weeks in New York, Milan, Paris, and London. PETA is also looking for billboard space in New York's Chelsea neighborhood and the West Hollywood section of LA, where they say many of the gay fashion stylists and editors they are targeting are based.

The campaign, which is set on a staged runway, features a naked Armacost shot from the rear holding a sign with the tagline "Turn your back on fur." Take a look after the jump (sort of SFW).
