Nasty Gal's July Lookbook Suggests You Try Black-and-White Outfits Or Splashes of Color for the Rest of the Summer

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

For their July lookbook, Nasty Gal took a break from crosses and goth motifs and introduced a mostly monochromatic collection against a bright orange and green backdrop. The lookbook includes a few other pops of color besides what's painted on the wall, like a pair of coral printed pants and a neon yellow blouse.

The collection also includes a mint green shirt and sweater combo, demonstrating that that trend is still alive and well, and maybe Pantone should have considered a "runner up" hue for its Color of the Year. Click through the lookbook above for all that, as well as a lot of intricate cut-outs, and one bathing suit that's bound to produce the worst tan lines known to man.
