Well, it turns out all is chummy between John Fairchild, founder of W, and current editor Stefano Tonchi, after all. After a Vanity Fair article reported Fairchild was still fuming about his column's cancelation, a rep from W told The Cut that it's all good. Fairchild has even written a forward for the magazine's new coffee-table book, "W: The First 40 Years," and the rep insists that he will only be missing the book party in L.A. because he lives in Switzerland with his family.
