First Look: Skaist Taylor's Debut Collection Has Landed

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

"Effortless, wearable, indulgent" are the buzzwords for Skaist Taylor's much-anticipated first collection, which is now available at Neiman Marcus, and those are accurate for the most part. The price point starts at $295 for a sweater and works it way up to $2,150 for a fur tie-shrug. Indulgent? Yes. Effortless? Well, you decide. We're calling it "accessibly boho style for less accessible price points."

The clothes, however, will surely tug at the heart strings of the vaguely bohemian West Coast upper-crust—which is basically what we were expecting from Juicy Couture founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor. Check out the pieces and pricing in the gallery above, and if they feel a little out of range, just wait for the brand's Target/Neiman's holiday collabapalooza items to hit for something a little more within reach.
