Still in the mood for maxi dresses at this point in August? Good. The Nicole Richie for Macy's Impulse collection lookbook has hit the internet, and the 25-piece range nods in part to Richie's Winter Kate line and in part to Macy's everywoman aesthetic, which Richie has grown familiar with over a year of thinking, talking, and working with the retailer on NBC’s Fashion Star. In short, the department store's line will be more affordable than hers, of course, but equally as print-tastic and maxi-fied.
Richie told WWD back in May that the designs have "a strong mix of masculine and feminine." And that turns out to mean a lot of a particular leather triangle motif, plus the requisite peasant blouses and peacock prints that any respectable boho chic devotee has in her closet. Also, two words: Furry. Arms. (We're not sure if those are the masculine or feminine part). The collection, which is priced between $49 and $149, hits Macy's stores on September 12, but you check out all the looks now after the jump.
