Rachel Zoe: 'I Would Wear a Turban to Whole Foods'

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Harper's Bazaar's Laura Brown is back interviewing fashion's top tier for the webseries "The Look," and today's style stunner needs no introduction (It's Rachel Zoe). Here are our three favorite quotes from the segment:

3. "This is my first Birkin, this is the one [husband] Roggie bought me for my 30th birthday. And there was a trail of red rose petals leading to, all through backyard, out the front door, leading to champagne and big orange box. And this is what was in it." Brown and Zoe then solemnly agreed that Roger is perfect.

2. "I couldn't love fashion more, I don't think it's possible to love fashion more. I will say that since I've had my son—not to kind of disappoint people—but you know [makes a gesture showing rank with hands] he's surpassed that love." There you have it, folks: Human being from Zoe's own womb > fashion.

3. "I would wear a turban to Whole Foods."

Check out the rest of the interview (including lots of goodies from Zoe's closet) after the jump.
