In a new series, we're brushing up on our fashion diction with a little help from our friends. First up: Prabal Gurung. Since launching his eponymous line in 2009, Gurung has dressed women as varied as Michelle Obama, Demi Moore, Rihanna, and all of us regular people who managed to snag a piece of his J.Crew capsule. Known for signature prints and unconventional fabrics, he won the 2010 CFDA Swarovski Womenswear Award—But his label might be easier to adore than it is to pronounce.
