Pippa Middleton's Party-Planning Book Is Almost Here, You Guys

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

So Pippa Middleton is probably not moving to America, as rumored, but if it's any consolation, we are getting her book next month! It's a Martha Stewart-style crafting book called Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, which Pippa is qualified to write because she has some kind of a job with her family's party-planning business, and it will be here on October 31.

In the meantime, People has gotten a hold of the front and back covers, and it would appear the the book's publisher is no fool: They are going for full Pippa exposure by including not one but five photos of the younger Middleton sister performing an array of cozy activities, from playing frisbee and riding bikes to baking... something with a small child. (Actually, it's five and a half if you include the one of just her hands.) Between that and this, we should all have enough Middleton fodder to tide us over until the hardcover arrives.
