Well, it's been a really big day for lawsuit resolution! First, Kim Kardashian and Old Navy patched up their differences, and now Macy's has been given its final answer on the injunction the filed against Martha Stewart and JCPenney. According to WWD, a New York state judge has ruled that Penney's can go ahead with its deal to sell Martha Stewart goods, denying Macy's injuction request, as long as Penney doesn't sell certain goods that Macy's had a prior exclusive on.
That doesn't mean it's over, though. The lawsuits Macy's brought separately against Martha Stewart and Penney's will be consolidated into one and trial will begin in November—otherwise known as holiday season, Martha's favorite time of year.
