Get Ready to Downward-Dog it Out With Essie's New Yogaga Nail Polish Collection

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Essie's latest round of polishes is called Yogaga, and the color names are all inspired by working out. Among the six shades, there's Pilates Hottie ("pinky-taupe lilac"), Gym Dandy ("neutral brown with a hint of gray"), and Spinning Again ("nuanced and natural brick").

Unlike some rival polish brands, Essie hasn't jumped on the celebrity collab bandwagon yet. But this collection could be the perfect segue into a collab with a popular brand—perhaps they could partner with Lululemon? Or create a custom product for SoulCycle a la Jonathan Adler?
