The past year has seen a celebrity marriage circuit mired with divorce (Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Katy Perry and Russel Brand, Heidi and Seal, Demi and Ashton) and at least one extremely weird, histrionic apology (the unmarried Kristen Stewart to the equally unmarried Robert Pattinson). And if this avalanche of break-ups proves anything, it's that life ain't always breezy amongst the extremely rich. Thank goodness, then, for the celebrity marriages that keep on keeping on, and to celebrate this staying power, Forbes' has ranked them in order of how much money they make.

The list of the top five most monied celebrity couples has shifted around a bit from last year, but it's still full of the expected superstars and beautiful people we love to love. After the jump, find which pair won the most robust bank account award, and the others that still have a pretty respectable bank account. (And fun bonus fact: At least in the top two, it's the ladies bringing home the extremely fancy bacon.)

1. Beyoncé ($40 mill) and Jay Z ($38 mill) total: $78 mill
This is Beyoncé and Jay Z's year, apparently. They welcomed daughter Blue Ivy into the world and Jay Z made the top ten Vanity Fair's best dressed list, while B landed herself the Most Beautiful Woman in the World nod. And now they've knocked Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady from first to second place. We wonder if Kimye feels inadequate when it goes out with them?

2. Gisele Bundchen ($45 mill) and Tom Brady ($27 mill) total: $72 mill
Brady might be following in his wife's footsteps with a modeling contract for UGGs and whatnot, but when the Patriots don't win the superbowl, Brady doesn't get paid (as much). Welcome to slot number two, Bundchen-Brady.

3. David Beckham ($46 mill) and Victoria Beckham ($8 mill) total: $54 mill
This couple has quite diverse income sources, what with soccer and modeling contracts on David's part, and clothing lines and royalties from Spice Girls hits enduring anthems on Victoria's end. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to spoil a baby.

4. Brad Pitt ($25 mill) and Angelina Jolie ($20 mill) total: $45 mill
Speaking of babies, this couple might not be married (yet!) but they have the most children on the list. So that's something? Whatever. They make movies.

5. Will Smith ($30 mill) and Jada Pinkett Smith ($10 mill) total: $40 mill
The Smiths are back to the top five after a year's hiatus, thanks to Men in Black and other movies. As it should be.
