As the saying goes, you can't keep a good woman down. Just a few short months since Betsey Johnson LLC filed for bankruptcy, and some weeks since the brand's stores across the country put literally everything on clearance and closed, the princess of all that's pink and sparkly has announced a partnership with The Levy Group (which produces clothing for brands like Laundry by Shelli Segal and Nautica) making what she makes best: dresses. Specifically, "solid and printed sexy, flowing dresses" Johnson told WWD.
The Betsey Johnson line of frocks will retail for $99 and $249 (though WWD doesn't get specific about where they will be sold, saying only "better boutiques and department stores"). Perhaps best of all, the line is slated to debut during her retrospective runway show next month. Retrospective runway show? We'll take front row seats, thank you much.
