The Eyes at VPL Were Inspired by a "Broken Thermometer"

In Victoria Bartlett's search for the perfect runway eyes to complement her spring collection for VPL, she ran into a few snags. Liquid mercury was the goal, and as Beauty.com's Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics didn't happen to have and eye shadow that quite created that broken-thermometer shimmer in the line, they had to create one from scratch.

Never fear, makeup artist Romy Soleimani told us how to DIY the look: "If you use their primer with any of their shimmers, it changes the texture and makes it really long wearing and give it a nice shine.
