The makeup look at alice + olivia's spring presentation was all about the eye. The cateye, more specifically. The inspiration for both the collection and the makeup was the optimistic mood and fun style vibe of late 1950s America. "For the makeup, I really wanted to do a classic black cateye with Stila liquid liner, and we made a little bit of a funky, feminine flair to it by adding a periwinkle right on top, so it's kind of like a pinstripe liner," explained Stila Cosmetics makeup artist Sarah Lucero. "It's a very sharp, sexy, smart look, but a little bit flirty." Get the step by step after the jump.
