In Singapore yesterday, Kate Middleton wore a Prabal Gurung dress from the spring 2012 collection to a dinner with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. At one point before the dinner, she was seated all by her lonesome, so it's a good thing she chose a dress that would keep her from disappearing into the back of that chair.

The Cut points out that the outfit choice was probably a carefully calculated move on Middleton's part. Gurung was raised in Nepal, but he was born in Singapore—so that was nice of her. Also, they point out that the dress is a little roomy in the midsection, and since the Duchess toasted with a glass of water, the pregnancy rumors continue. Pregnant or not, Prabal was so excited about the whole thing that he stopped some strangers on the street to tell them about it.
