Despite a pre-show fire marshall intervention that forced everyone out of Grand Central Station for 45 minutes yesterday and a Kimye appearance, Marchesa's elegant, gilded runway show ultimately went off smoothly. Also, when we say gilded, we mean that literally. To match the opulence of the setting and the gowns, makeup artist Talis Shobrook created a makeup look for Laura Mercier using flecks of actual gold at the corners of the eyes. See it come to life above.
