Spring's blue eyeshadow trend can seem a bit daunting, but makeup artist Talia Shobook assures us you can pull it off without putting yourself in showgirl territory. With look 1960s Vegas glamor as inspiration, she created Laura Mercier's loook for Jenny Packham's runway show this season. Get the step-by-step after the jump.

Gently lift the eyelid at the brow and apply Laura Mercier eye pencil in midnight blue straight across the lid, starting just below the lid's crease and extending slightly beyond the outside corner of the eye.

Using the same eye pencil, fill in the area of the lid below the line and repeat, using Laura Mercier Kohl eye pencil in black turquoise. Then gently press a layer of Laura Mercier baked eye colour in lagoon over the liner to set it.

With a dome-shaped brush, apply Laura Mercier creme eye colour in platinum from above the create of the eye to the brow bone. Add a line of Artist Luxe liquid liner to the lash line.

Finish by applying a coat of Laura Mercier faux lash mascara and Laura Mercier full faux eyelashes.

Ta-da!
