Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Vivienne Tam's Spring show was inspired by the Five Elements of Chinese cosmology (metal, wood, water, fire and earth) and the collection prominently features the colors and textures, and maybe even moods of these elements. We enjoyed the interesting shapes, her classic East-meets-West style and a healthy amount of crop tops. Her show also was the debut of her collaboration with TSL Jewellery, Vivienne Tam's first foray into fine jewelry.
