Looking at Mary Katrantzou's Spring 2013 collection makes a person go slack-jawed wondering how can she possibly design and execute print after awe-inspiring print, season after season. Well first, we know homegirl doesn't sleep and second, prints are kind of her thing.
This go around, she took inspiration from bank notes and stamps. Transposing pictures of them directly on her dresses, the images are filtered through saturated blues and greens (stamps) and shimmering metallic golds, blues, and reds (bank notes—pre-circulation, presumably). The pieces looked at once delicate and strong—a lot like paper. Check them out after the jump.
