Milliner Philip Treacy's return to the runway after a prolonged hiatus was primed to receive its fair share of PR buzz and celebrity loving from the grand poo-pahs of fashion. And that's exactly what it got: Lady Gaga opened the show in a pink shroud and welcomed guests (including Treacy loyalists like Kim Cattral, Grace Jones, Dita von Teese, and Anna Dello Russo) to the show of "the greatest milliner of all time." But crazier than Gaga: Treacy's models were wearing Michael Jackson's clothes. Treacy apparently borrowed the outfits—including the famous "Beat It" jacket—from the late pop-star's archive for the UK's only viewing before the entire wardrobe gets auctioned off in LA in December.
And craziest of all, of course, Treacy's delightfully wackadoo hat-sculptures. See it all in the gallery after the jump.
