Karl Lagerfeld has racked up quite a track record this year for insulting people and then back-tracking over his words. First there was the Adele incident, now
Grazia caught Karl Lagerfeld mid-moonwalk over the, er, statement he made about Pippa Middleton back in August. ("I don't like [Kate's] sister's face. She should only show her back," was the exact quote.)

But now he's clearing everything up, telling Grazia:

"I didn't mean that! I only meant I don't think her make-up is right; she has a roundish face and round eyes and she should pick another make-up for the eyes."
Conveniently, he happens to have just launched his Karl Lagerfeld x Shu Uemura capsule collection, should Pippa need any advice on just what kind of makeup her makeover requires.
