New, 2 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Need an excuse to smile? Check out the trailer for the upcoming documentary "Iris Apfel: A Work-in-Progress." Through all five minutes of filmmaker Albert Maysles' own work in progress, you'll hear Iris' philosophies on dressing and life and see into her home—and into her head by proxy. The film's producer told us that they "hoping to finish" the documentary for Fall 2013 and they're "currently trying to raise the money to be able to finish it." God speed: five minutes of Iris is not nearly enough.
