Louise Roe will relieve Elle Macpherson of her hosting duties on NBC's reality show Fashion Star next season. But there's no bad blood between the two former models. Macpherson told Deadline that "As executive producer of Fashion Star I'm really excited by our choice of Louise as host for the second season. I think her presence will energize and surprise." The British born model/fashion journalist/TV personality's resume does include Glamour's editor-at-large as well as former host for the CW's reality show "Plain Jane," so here's hoping.
If you haven't seen Fashion Star (and chances are that you haven't because it's one of the more ratings-challenged reality shows out there), here's a quick recap: Jessica Simpson, John Varvatos, and Nicole Richie, among others, mentor aspiring designers who create seasonal designs, which buyers from Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and H&M would either order for their store or say no thanks (though H&M has pulled out after this season). Catch it Sundays at 8pm this season.
