Max Mara looked to "sport deluxe" and "colonial" style for Spring 2013. Not the Jamestown kind of colonialism—the African safari kind! Models' heads were wrapped in scarves in the really serious "don't mess with me, I'm here to see lions" kind of way and the color palette rotated among all-over camel and other earth tones, animal print, and the occasional faded blue. The looks also seemed to be sifted through an '80s filter with a focus on highly wearable loose-fitting shoulders and sleeves. Take a peek after the jump.
