The website version of Carine Roitfeld's much anticipated CR Fashion Book launched today and with it, a sneak peek into what to expect when you're expecting to read the print version. In her editor's letter she explains, "When I learned that my daughter, Julia, was expecting, I immediately began seeing babies and new mothers on planes, at fashion shows, in New York and in Paris. Birth and rebirth all around. I became obsessed."
Her baby, if our metaphor decoders are working properly, is the debut issue that's dropping on September 13. Look forward to pictures of models pretend-nursing baby dolls and other less-than-subtle thematic nods.
