Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Today we're bringing you our weekly retail updates from Racked's newest cities: DC, Seattle, Philadelphia, and San Francisco courtesy of our Curbed sister sites. Excited? We sure are. And now, as usual, here's your end-of-the-day report on the fashion happenings in Racked cities around the country:
NEW YORK—Split your time equally between previewing the Patch NYC, Odin, and Kirna Zabete goods and checking out the star power from Hailee Steinfeld to Jessica Chastain in the Shops at Target opening party pics.
LOS ANGELES—Wasteland's latest lookbook is one part 2001: Space Odyssey, one more part Fifth Element, and all parts what we want to wear in the future.
CHICAGO—Watch male model Drew Parkin do model things (mostly sans a shirt) around town for FNO Chicago.
PHILLY—Expect a custom jewelry operation, DJ, and 15% off apparel and footwear at Arcadia Boutique's fifth anniversary party tomorrow night.
DC—Both Georgetown and Alexandria are hosting their very own FNOs tonight so no matter which side of the state-to-district line you're on, you're covered (unless you're on the Maryland side, in which case, maybe next year?)
SAN FRANCISCO—With 16 events going down in celebration of FNO, get choosy, and get choosy quick—there's only an hour before most events start!
SEATTLE—Seattle is flexing it's FNO muscles as well with events from east to west and north to south.
