At a Boom Boom Room party hosted by André Balazs last night, fashion's fairy godmother Fern Mallis said what everyone would be thinking if they didn't have a million other things on their minds this week. She told The Cut that "Fashion Week creates such a buzz and so much chaos that I don't think we need FNO this week." Instead, she says the night would be put to better use if it were to happen January or October when stores experience sale slumps. Please note, ye FNO gods, and also know that many a planner would also be very appreciative of the change. [The Cut]
