Last night, Swarovski fêted its collaboration with Yoko Ono at the brand's Crystallized shop in New York. The fruit of their labors is a key-themed jewelry collection that includes an engraved crystal necklace with the lofty name "Key to Open the Universe." In that spirit, we asked mode Alex Wek what the key to her universe is:
"Evolving. The process. Because I grew up in a very close family. I was one of nine. And with my mom, at first it was, 'Education, education, education, get a proper job!' and now she's like 'Where are the babies!'"
And for the record, that was the second time she mentioned starting a family during the 30 seconds we spoke with her.
