Tibi 2013 Resort Collection, Or How to Wear a Neoprene Lobster

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Tibi is taking resort dressing clichés (so, like, bathing suits?) and turning them on their heads, according to the brand's press release. The 2013 collection mixes lace and neoprene with high-waisted skirts and slouchy tops, and makes lobster prints so large, they are surreal. Does this mean we can wear it not at a resort then? Here's hoping. Pricing starts at $250 for the mesh sweater, and is shoppable here.
