The 8 Most Wackadoodle Looks from Men's Fashion Week

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We'll admit it—fashion can get a little weird from time to time. And for some reason all of the industry's most bizarre tastes seem to come to a head during Men's Fashion Week, as designers push the constraints of what has traditionally been a platform with a very narrow window for creativity. Sometimes the results are pretty cool, and other times—well, not so much. Take a peek at some of the most, um, interesting looks from Men's Fashion Week so far.—Jihan Forbes

Versace Fall 2013
For the gentleman who cannot live without a pair of lacy biker shorts, Donatella Versace offers a sportier version of Marc Jacobs' Comme des Garçons Met Gala frock. Ms. Versace says, "You're welcome."

Sibling Fall 2013
This poor fellow can't even use his hands or peripheral vision with all those oversized accessories. Someone put him out of his misery!

Vivienne Westwood Fall 2013
It's a poncho! It's a windbreaker! It's a—um, we're not sure exactly what to call this look, but we can't lie—we are kind of into the see-through bill on the hood of this contraption. Its functionality is a great contrast to? whatever else is going on here.

Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall 2013
You can't hate a man brave enough to rock plaid-on-plaid. Especially when he is brandishing a fencing sword to guard the passport and AMEX card nestled safely in his rabbit fur-embellished fanny pack.

JW Anderson Fall 2013
J.W. Anderson has created a perfect strapless, neutral-toned look that both Kim and Kanye can wear.

MAN Fall 2013
Jesus said it best: "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Matt 7:3-5

Meadham Kirchhoff Fall 2013
Meadham Kirchhoff styled his male models with enviable, Alice in Wonderland-esque flowy locks for his Fall 2013 men's show. This guy's hair looks a lot nicer than ours did at our high school prom. We don't know how to feel about that.

Umit Benan Fall 2013
Need a terrifying-but-stylish shade to haunt your dreams? Look no further than Umit Benan's masked dandy. He will no doubt be making it hard for us to sleep tonight.
