We recently learned that Gwyneth Paltrow, the woman with annoyingly great taste, likes to pop a bottle of wine and browse high-end UK boutique Matches, and now she has even more reason to do so: Raquel Allegra, Californian purveyor of laid-back urban chic, has created a capsule collection due to hit the site by the end of January.
Prices for the pieces start at about $300, and, as Matches international buyer explains, Allegra's "signature shredding feels modern and luxurious whether in cashmere, silk, linen or super soft cotton. The secret to her success, I think, is that she makes pieces that are understated and effortless to wear—there is timelessness to her collections that are above trend and also practical as they are perfect for traveling, holidays, and the weekend." Sounds like a win for Gwyneth and us.
