Wrangler, whose site boasts many a cowboy doing cowboy things, tapped Lizzie Jagger (of that Mic Jagger clan) to front the new "Denim Spa" range. Three jean styles comprise the collection, each containing a different kind of moisturizer infusion to combat "dehydrating effects" of wearing denim. This is not the first time that legwear has posed as a spa, but it is the first time a denim brand has done so. And while associating the word "moist" with "pants" is rarely an ideal situation, one of the pairs does claim to reduce cellulite. So that's new.
The "Smooth Legs" style contains algae extracts, retinol, and caffeine in some way, shape, or form, and there was an actual clinic in France that tested them. 69% of their denim wearing testers reported an improved thigh smoothness after wearing them for eight hours a day, five days a week over six week. Here's hoping you like denim. A lot.
