Phillip Lim's First Campaign Ever Looks Pretty Familiar

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

For Phillip Lim's first ad campaign, the designer photographed what he knows: A crazy busy street that's jam-packed with the some stylish ladies. If you can focus on the dizzying displays, you'll find models Katryn Kruger and Franzi Mueller decked out in grunge-y tees and leather jackets that you'll remember from the equally dissonant Spring show. Disorderly conduct aside, street-style photography has never looked so good. Look for the snaps in Another Magazine, Love, Interview, and The Gentlewoman, among others this Spring.
