Kate Hudson's First Celebrity Designer Gig Goes To Ann Taylor

Anne Taylor didn't have to go far to find a celebrity guest designer: Kate Hudson, the face of several adverts for the retailer in 2012, has signed on to co-create a capsule and star in another campaign to boot.

So what can we expect from the golden girl's first foray into fashion-y things? According to WWD, the actress "helped create a lineup of looks inspired by her red-carpet style, reinterpreted for everyday occasions." It's not everyday that one gets to wear an Alexander McQueen gown with (See: Right), so it'll be interesting to see what that means—especially at a company best known for it's interview appropriate workwear and basics. No word on pricing yet, but look for the capsule in Ann Taylor stores in May.
