Alexander Wang released very paired-down Spring 2013 ads—minimal to the point that new-to-the-brand model Malgosia Bela is not wearing any apparel items from the critically successful line. Instead, the shots, which show her from the shoulders up, feature her wild hair and matte make-up. Granted, the images are teasers to the full campaign is released in CR Fashion Book, Love, and Interview magazine, but the offer an insight into the fresh direction of the still-growing brand.
