Judging from Twitter, the majority of the stateside fashion community was tuned into the Downton Abbey Season 3 premier at 9:00 last night—which is really no surprise, considering the period drama's influence on fashion collections over the past two seasons.
And though everyone and their mom seems to be getting their Downton on, the designer who wins the number-one-fan award is definitely Ralph Lauren, who opened his Fall 2013 show with the Downton theme music and sent a parade of English countryside looks down the runway.
Topping that off, he followed up with an addtional runway show at Highclere Castle, the real-life Yorkshire estate where Downton Abbey is filmed, for a highly select audience. Didn't get invited? The rest of us can live vicariously though the positively stunning photos of the event after the jump.
