"Earth's biggest selection" just got slightly larger: Amazon launched its "Luxury Beauty Store." Find there NARs, Burberry fragrances, Lorac, Butter London, Dr. Brandt Skincare, Deborah Lipmann, L'Occitane, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, Stila and other brands.
While the interface still feels a little rudimentary, it's much cleaner than most other corners of the online shopping emporium. Chance Wales, director of beauty, told WWD, "We have heard very clearly from our customers that they are looking for luxury brands. The flipside is we also needed to do something on the brand side, so we put a lot of time and effort into refining the experience." Will you be shopping the same place you can buy a Miley Cyrus foam finger, or stick to Sephora and other standing beauty sites?
