As Cos, the high-end sisterbrand to H&M, gears up to make its stateside debut both online and in New York, Opening Ceremony has done fans a solid by offering a limited amount of the fall collection online and in its SoHo store. The clothes hit the Opening Ceremony site this morning. Since the brand is just testing the retail waters, the selection is highly curated for both men and women, with only 30 and 25 items available, respectively.
For women, the spread covers two coats, two jackets, four sweaters, two pants, two button-downs, two dresses, a handful of tops, and a skirt. Accessories include a leather shopper in two colors for $125, $50 cashmere beanies, and $70 wool scarf in five colorways. Everything follows a fairly monochrome pallet of black, white and gray, with single splashes of dark green and oxblood thrown in for flavor.
For men it's a lot of the same, minus skirts and dresses, plus raw edge tees for $30, patent leather shoes for $175, $50 belts, and a leather wallet for $55. If this doesn't satisfy a voracious minimalist appetite, look for the launch of Cos' e-tail site come spring 2014.
