Fort Makers' Fall Looks Will Charm Your Artistic Side

New, 1 comment

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Fort Makers, a Brooklyn-based collective made up of four artists, has provided a reason to wear your artistic side on your sleeve: Their fall 2013 a graphic pints on gorgeous fabric. For the uninitiated, group founder, Nana Spears, formed the collective in 2008, and since then, they've worn many hats, designing bedding for Anthropologie, hand-painting one-of-a-kind place mats for Of a Kind (still available, ya'll), erected outdoor installations across the country, created set design for a MoMA PS1 Warm Up, and more. Find info on everything they're getting into on on the site (e-commerce forthcoming). Finally, take a gander at the wild, graphic prints splashed over dresses, tops and pants below and let your creativity breath a bit.
