Yesterday's Post reports that the cost of admittance to the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala, otherwise known as 'Fashion's Oscars,' has hit $25,000 per person. The annual event, which celebrates the museum's yearly fashion exhibit, is helmed by Anna Wintour.
Tickets for next year's event, a celebration of the reopening of the Costume Institute and the work of early American couturier Charles James, will cost $10,000 more than this year's. An anonymous source said that the increase in price, "will make the Met Gala even more high-fashion, even more exclusive and even more aspirational."
