For its 2013 fall accessories launch, American brand Ralph Lauren chose an unlikely partner: the ASPCA. In honor of Adopt a Shelter Animal Month this October, RL partnered with the animal welfare organization on a video showcasing fashion accessories and adorable, adoptable dogs.
Since the clip was shot, all the dogs featured in it were rescued. Ralph Lauren has pledged 10% of proceeds from sales of the pieces featured to the ASPCA for the month of October 15th to November 15th. (The fine print: "excludes fine jewelry and watches. Only the purchase of colors and styles featured in the film prompt the 10 percent donation.") The accessories that qualify include an Italian vachetta leather dog carrier for $1,950, a yellow dog raincoat for $95 and a cable-knit cashmere turtleneck dog sweater for $95. Read the pups' stories here and watch the video after the jump.
