Saks Fifth Avenue kicked off their 25% off friends & family sale, and sadly (for multiple reasons) the list of designers who are not included in the discount is too long to print here (hit "DETAILS" on the landing page for a full list). But sticking on the positive side of things, we're happy to report that Chloe apparel and shoes (but not handbags), Burberry, Rag & Bone, Alice + Olivia, LNA, Donna Karan apparel (but not shoes), Michael Kors, Milly, Tory Burch, Vince, A.P.C., Helmut Lang, and Marc by Marc Jacobs, among others, are all eligible. As you can tell from that short list, this is great sale for shopping basics heading into cold weather. It's also pretty solid if you're looking denim since brands like AG, Seven for All Mankind Citizens, MiH, MOTHER, and rag&bone/JEANS are all subject to discounts. And finally, If you have a totally natural and normal addiction to Cosabella underwear and bras, this is a good time to stock up: Select thongs are $9 and their soft bras are about $37.

Keep in mind that most of the sale on sale items, which is the sweetspot in terms of price, have availability in one or two sizes. We've gathered 15 notable scores below, but the inventory is massive despite the designer restrictions.
