In an unfortunate addition to the racial profiling accusations leveled against Barneys, HBO actor Rob Brown (a.k.a. Jamal Wallace in Finding Forrester) is suing Macy's thanks to a spookily similar story. He claims to have been unlawfully searched and frisked after making an expensive purchase at the Herald Square flagship's Sunglass Hut.

According to the Manhattan Supreme Court suit, he gave cops his ID before he "was told that his identification was false and that he could not afford to make such an expensive purchase" and detained for over an hour. "It's an epidemic. It's unbelievable," said Brown's attorney, Nicholas Elefterakis. Macy's has not yet commented.
