The news that Best Buy is offering a $50 gift card to those who purchase the $99 iPhone 5C with a two year contract (until October 7) seems to have sparked an undercutting war with other tech sellers. According to MarketWatch, starting Saturday, RadioShack is offering the same thing—$50 gift card that can be used toward their $99 iPhone 5C purchase—but will extend until November 2.
Not to be outdone, Wal-Mart has cut the price of the iPhone 5c from $79 to $45. That will extend "throughout the holiday season." Can we hear a $30?
