Fruit of the Loom wants to give you fresh undies for your first day on the job. Beginning October 15, the underwear and sock brand will offer LinkedIn users who land new jobs a complimentary pair of Fruit of the Loom intimates. The "Fresh Gigs" promotion will last for five weeks and the company plans to give out 25,000 pairs of boxers, briefs or bikinis.
Each Fresh Gigs winner will be contacted via a LinkedIn message and will get to choose which style they receive. According to the Times, the package will arrive within two weeks along with a coupon worth $5 off more undies. Fruit of the Loom's SVP of brand management explains the project thusly: "What you put on first thing in the morning really can have a positive impact on your day, and we thought about all that hope and optimism of starting a job."
