Back in 2010, a memoir by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Norman Leaf alleged that Marilyn Monroe got chin implants and tip rhinoplasty. Now that her medical records are up for auction by an anonymous seller (for real), that's been confirmed.
According to Reuters, the set of six X-rays and a file of doctors' notes that offer a partial medical history of Monroe from 1950 to 1962, are expected to raise from $15,000 to $30,000 at auction beginning November 9 (that's nothing compared to the chest X-rays which brought home $45,000). The executive director of Julien's Auctions, probably shaking under the excitement of the lot, told the paper, "Nobody really thought about Marilyn Monroe having plastic surgery. It was always speculation—did she or didn't she? They thought she was such a natural beauty, they didn't want to believe."
