Alexander Wang might have taken to outfitting fashion babies as of late, but he hasn't lost his cool. No further proof is needed than the new Tokyo store, opened in the city's Aoyama district on October 5. It's three levels of shiver inducing black and white marble floors and displays, concrete walls, and polished bronze and matte black steel stairs. It's ice cold. The marble and concrete paradise houses the complete ready-to-wear line, plus T by Alexander Wang, accessories, and the latest Objects collection. But before the stateside store in Soho gets jealous of Tokyo's upped ante on the minimalist sleek-titude, note that the Japanese version doesn't have a boxing ring with fur-covered punching bags. Yet.
