This morning, WWD broke the news of the Olsen twins newest effort, scent. The twins have concocted two fragrances that are debuting in Sephora stores just in time for holiday on December 13th with a full roll out on sephora.com to follow in January. The perfumes, named Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black (woody, with notes of violet, sandalwood and vanilla) and Elizabeth and James Nirvana White (floral, with notes of peony, muguet and musk), are layerable and are an extension of the twins' Elizabeth and James clothing and accessories line. They reportedly took two years to develop and will retail for $75, $55 and $22, depending on size.

"Ashley and I are really into oils, and those were the notes we were really attracted to," said Mary-Kate. "It was fascinating to see how many different variations of ingredients there were, how many different types of sandalwood, for instance. That was one of the things I found most interesting, the quality issues of these ingredients, and also balancing all of the notes so that they would sit well together in the juice."

In the photo shoot for the fragrances, one crucial hair update is immediately evident: Mary-Kate has a new look. It appears as if Olsen's stylist Mark Townsend cut her hair a few inches shorter, resulting in a very nice lob (long bob), while Ashley either has extensions or has grown her hair out. Both looks really suit each twin, don't they?
