For retailers eager to nab early holiday shopping dollars, 6pm on Thanksgiving Day is the new 8pm on Thanksgiving Day. Though an early wave of stores like Macy's and Kohl's decided to open after staffers had presumably digested their meals, Best Buy and now Wal-Mart have announced that they will be opening two hours earlier. A spokesperson told CNN that staffers will be served a Thanksgiving meal at work and will receive holiday pay as well as an additional 25% off one purchase. [CNN]
