The so-called "invisible bike helmet" has been in the works for seven years now and finally its become a reality. It's basically a collapsible air bag that fastens around the neck and looks like a bulky scarf. It's slightly more fashion conscious and comfortable as well as less likely to flatten hair (unless said biker actually gets in a crash). Plus, it's safer, protecting your neck during an impact.
